Want to become a Paddle UK white water SUP coach?
This Coach Award is designed to support you coaching paddlers who want to gain or improve SUP river running skills. You will coach paddleboarders new to the sport, or paddlers looking to develop their skills as well as tactics in the white water environment. A practical two day course, building on those paddleboarding coaching theories you’ve gained from the Core Coach training, putting them into play.
Paddle UK sup White water personal performance award (ppa)
SUP white water paddling is dynamic and takes place in an ever-changing environment. This Paddle UK award will give you the skills you need to steer your craft proactively on the river.
You will learn how to maintain control of your body alignment whilst managing your height on the water, as well as being able to drive and control the paddleboard.
Sheltered Water personal performance award (ppa)
Your Paddle UK SUP Sheltered Water Award will give you the ability to organise and carry out an enjoyable and safe trip on the water up to 200 metres from shore, up to force 3 in winds.
Your award should be seen as a sound basis for building the experience and knowledge associated with SUP White Water Award holders and SUP Surf Paddle Award holders

The Paddle UK Coach Award offers discipline specific pathways across all disciplines and introduces the skills and coaching behaviours required for developing performance through progressive coaching.
The Core Coach Training is one of the first steps on your coaching journey before leading onto one or more of the 22 discipline specific training awards.
